We had a great time during our spring 2012 weekend of service, with at least 65 volunteers turning out to help with 8 different service projects throughout the city, over the course of the weekend. Volunteers did everything from painting buildings and cleaning out cages at an animal refuge, to gardening and painting with handicapped adults, and from cleaning out a shelter for women in need, to having a day-long party with handicapped children.

We began the day with a brief welcome meeting over croissants and coffee in the morning, equipped everyone with their red Serve the City Geneva t-shirt, introduced volunteers to their team leaders, and then sent them on their way!
