A zoo in Bellevue ??

Yes, that’s right! There is a non-profit animal park in Bellevue that requested a little help on Saturday 11 March. They refurbish the animal cages from time to time, and have asked STC if we could help with a few strong hands to tear down and clean out one of the old cages. If you have a couple of hours to help them, please sign up on the STC website and we will send along the details on where to meet at 9h30 on Saturday.

Also, Carrefour Rue & STC are looking for more volunteers to join the Wednesday soup kitchen at Jardin de Montbrillant. We’re looking for volunteers who want to help prepare and serve food from 9h00 until 13h00 every Wednesday throughout March, April and May. If you’d like to join our team, or get more information, please get on the STC website , get involved, and sign-up for the Soup Kitchen event…. mentioning what days you would like to help serve.

Yesterday on the 27th of January the last items of the 158 tons of food and hygiene products that were collected during the Samedi du Partage on the 26th of November, were sorted in the Partage warehouse in Carouge. Thanks to all of you for your help!

For those of you who are still looking for an opportunity to help and do not want to wait for the next Partage event, which will take place in June, we still take sign-ups for our every-other-Wednesday program for March, April and May.
